“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”


Food and lifestyle choices have the power to build and restore the body, but they also have the power to break down and destroy. American’s are privileged to have a plethora of food at their fingertips. Continual grazing, eating out and consuming packaged products are normal eating habits. American’s like to eat on the run, multi task and think more is better. The lifestyle most American’s have adapted to is slowly killing them. America is one of the sickest nations in the world where disease is often inflicted by lifestyle. Health issues are covered up with a drug. When new health issues flare due to the first drug, another drug is prescribed, and the cycle continues.

I believe that through holistic lifestyle and food choices we can stop this cycle and begin to reverse disease. We can restore hope to those dealing with chronic conditions.

Yes, there is a time and place for medical intervention and pharmaceutical drugs, but I believe if we start to rebuild the body with whole foods, proper hydration, rest and movement, amazing things will begin to take place. It wont be a fast progression, healing takes time, but as we begin to build on those and work our way up, fine tuning as we go, I know bodies will heal.
